Holy Land Pilgrimage with Archbishop Naumann for the 30th Anniversary of the Catholic Foundation Northeast Kansas – October 18-28, 2019

The Holy Land, often referred to as the fifth Gospel, offers the Catholic pilgrim an unparalleled spiritual opportunity. Our tentative schedule is that we will spend five nights in Jerusalem. We will visit Bethlehem, the Baptismal site at the Jordan River, the Judean hills of the Visitation, and trace Jesus’ steps through all the events of the Holy Week. We will also spend three nights on the shore of the Sea of Galilee, the region in which Jesus spent most of His public ministry. We will visit the home of the Holy Family in Nazareth, renew our wedding vows in Cana, and meditate on the Eucharist in the synagogue at Capernaum.

In each holy place, Mike Scherschligt, Catholic theologian and School of Faith Director, will present a compelling encounter with Our Lord Jesus to make our faith relevant and dynamic today. His Excellency, Archbishop Joseph F. Naumann, Archbishop of Kansas City in Kansas, will celebrate daily Mass. Your prayer life and participation in the Mass will never be the same after this pilgrimage.
